The experience of grief is unique to each person, but learning about grief and sharing experiences with others can provide comfort after the loss of a loved one.
NorthCare Hospice Bereavement Program supports families and caregivers during the first thirteen months after their loss. Our bereavement specialists help survivors through a step-by-step journey toward understanding, acceptance and healing.
Our bereavement team is knowledgeable and experienced in working with people who are grieving. This team will walk beside grieving family members as they journey through grief and develop an individualized plan to meet individual needs. Services include:
- Home visits
- Telephone support
- Quarterly educational newsletter
- Annual memorial service
- Grief support groups
- Referral to professional or community resources as needed
